Charlene Kavanagh began her legal career twenty-five years ago. Charlene practices in civil and commercial disputes in the areas of employment, banking, construction, insurance, and professional negligence. She has argued successfully before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court of Ontario, the Ontario Court of Appeal, as well as various administrative tribunals.

With her vast experience in litigation and a Master of Laws in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Charlene is well-placed to advise clients on their legal rights and the best strategy to protect them, whether that be through negotiation or through the court system.

Charlene focuses on delivering the best results for her clients in a timely and cost-effective manner. She became a lawyer to help people, and she prides herself on guiding clients through the complex legal issues they bring to her.

A native Newfoundlander, Charlene moved to Ottawa over twenty-five years ago straight from law school in Montreal. Charlene speaks English, French, German, and has a working knowledge of Portuguese. She welcomes working with clients in these languages.
