Alternatives to Separation

Alternatives to Separation

Topic: Family Law February 12, 2016 by Jim Jeffcott

Sometimes when I meet clients about separation, they are not there because they want a separation.  They are being forced to address it because their partner has made the decision or because they do not feel that there are resolutions for the challenges within the relationship that they are in.

If one is willing to be open to other options or approaches it is possible to look at unconventional solutions.  I often discuss with clients whether we can include the concept of reconciliation as an issue to be discussed in a separation process.  Why not consider a “Parenting Marriage”?

Have a look the article referred to here.
