Michael Nehme joined Low Murchison Radnoff LLP as a lawyer following his call to the bar in June 2019. After completing his articling term at LMR, Michael joined the firm’s Real Estate Group. Michael assists individuals and business clients in a wide range of real estate matters, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, lending and financing transactions, real estate development, and commercial leasing. Michael also assists clients with corporate/commercial matters, including contract review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and franchising.
During law school, Michael participated in moot court competitions, was a legal research assistant, obtained highest standing in the legal research course, co-founded the uOttawa Common Law student newspaper and served as its first Editor-in-Chief (English). Michael also completed an internship at a local corporate/commercial law firm, and graduated from law school on the Dean’s Honour List.
Having been raised alongside a family business, Michael understands the objectives, needs and challenges of both individual and business clients alike. In addition, Michael maintains his involvement in the community, and has founded or held positions in various community groups and organizations, including the Canadian-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Michael is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the County of Carleton Law Association.
Though practicing in English, Michael is also pleased to assist clients in French or Arabic.
As a teenager, Michael received training as a self-defence/martial arts instructor.
