Michael is a civil litigator that works hard for his clients to get the best results. He approaches problems from his client’s perspective.
Michael practices primarily in the areas of construction law, construction bond matters, enforcement, partnership and shareholder disputes, oppression applications and general commercial litigation. In addition to the foregoing, Michael practices estate litigation and personal injury.
With 8 years of experience in civil litigation, Michael has experience before tribunals, Small Claims Court, Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal. Michael also has experience defending leave to appeal applications to the Supreme Court of Canada.
Michael is a member of the County of Carleton Law Association, Canadian Bar Association, Ottawa Construction Association and the Advocacy Club. Michael was an executive of the Young Lawyers Division of the Ontario Bar Association.
Michael is a very active member of the community. He is a member of the Forest Valley Elementary School Council and the representative of the school council at the Ottawa Carleton Assembly of School Councils. Michael is also a hockey coach with Orleans Rush and a soccer coach with the Gloucester Dragons.
Michael is the proud father of two young competitive gymnasts.
