Kenneth Binks served as a judge of the Superior Court of Ontario from 1991 until his retirement in 2000. His passion for the law caused him to return to private practice – 47 years after his call to the Bar. He appeared as counsel before all the courts of Ontario and appeared in the Supreme Court of Canada on more than a dozen occasions.
In 1979, Ken published the definitive and only book on Canada’s Parliamentary Library, with over 45,000 copies now sold worldwide. He was National Secretary of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada from 1959 to 1966 and served as a Member of Parliament in 1979-1980.
For over half a century, Ken has addressed legal matters ranging from business law to criminal law; commercial law to wills and estates. He offers to his clients sound judgment and practical advice. Ken’s extensive knowledge of the law and his many years of experience make him an effective mediator and arbitrator.
Ken is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the County of Carleton Law Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocate Society of Ontario and is a Director of the Osgoode Society.
